Inkjet vs. Laserjet Transfer Paper?
my friend and I are attempting to make an iron on shirt thing. so she went to micheals and got the transfer paper which says use laser printers, but she has an inkjet printer, so she went to kinkos which said that it might not work because of the heat? so should she try just printing it on the inkjet, get different paper, or..?

The heat is definitely a concern. If the paper was designed for use in an inkjet it may not be properly compatible with the heat from a laser printer which could potentially damage the printer. But it may only be a print quality issue that would be a problem if tried in a laser, but I don't think it's worth the risk really.
Would really recommend getting transfer paper that's compatible with a laser rather than to try the inkjet paper in it, or find someone with an inkjet printer you could use instead.
