The Multipurpose And Eco-Friendly Samsung CLX 3160N Laser Printer
The Samsung CLX 3160N Printer does more than just provide you the ability to print with either color or monochrome CLX 3160N laser toners. Within one enclosure, it also works as a scanner, copier and fax machine. Everything is contained inside its body measuring 18.3 inches x 16.9 inches x 19.1 inches (W x D x H). Attachment to a PC is done by means of a USB port, although it's also network-ready for use within a workgroup.
As a laser printer, it's fast enough to churn out 16 monochrome pages per minute. That's 4 pages per minute when handling color printing tasks. Maximum resolution applicable for both tasks is 2400 x 600 dots per inch. This machine ships with starter Samsung CLX ink and toner. Black toner can yield as much as 1500 pages. The others (yellow, cyan and magenta) each can yield as much as 700 pages.
Thanks to the single media tray available, the machine's media input handling capacity amounts to 150 sheets. This tray is adjustable to snugly contain various media sizes. Regarding media sizes, compatible ones include those measuring from 3-inch x 5-inch to 8.5-inch x 14-inch media. Compatible types of media include ordinary paper, cards, labels, envelopes and transparencies. An optional paper cassette (250-sheet capacity) may be attached for increased input capacity.
An A4-size flatbed scanner is around, which can offer an interpolated image resolution of up to 4800 dpi x 4800 dpi. Out in the front is a USB 2.0 port. When scanning, you have the option to directly save the document to a USB flash memory plugged into the port. However, saving it to the computer's hard drive or attaching it to an e-mail is also possible. Scan to network feature may be activated if the machine is shared by a workgroup.
Working as a copier, it packs in the same speed as that of the printer function when working on color and monochrome documents. However, the maximum resolution which can be used is 1200 x 1200 dots per inch. Document enlargement is up to 400 percent, while document reduction is up to 25 percent. You may use either the flatbed scanner or the automatic document feeder, and make a max of 99 copies.
Both monochrome and color faxing is possible here. Inbuilt modem is capable of yielding transmission speeds of up to 33.6 Kbps. Fax resolutions available are 200 x 200 and 300 x 300 dots per inch. As much as 320 pages can be stored on the available fax memory. While no handset is available, dedicated buttons for faxing on the control panel are present for accessing the address book, quick-dial numbers, and others.
Well laid out, the control panel makes the operation of this 4-in-one machine a breeze. Other than faxing, there are also dedicated buttons for copying, scanning and of course printing. Available USB port on the front panel may also be used for direct printing of files on a USB flash drive or digital camera. A total of 128MB RAM already comes installed. There's support for an assortment of operating systems.

How to fix a wireless samsung printer?
I've got a major problem with my wireless Samsung CLX-3160FN printer.
I've got a home network of five laptops connected to it and every time any one of us wants to print it says that the printer is offline.
What's that supposed to mean and how am I supposed to fix it?
I'm afraid to tell my dad cuz I know he's gonna get mad, cuz it was only two weeks ago that the guy came to install it and it was working.
Please, please if you know how tog et it working again and stop appearing offline I would be very grateful and in debt to you for your help.

Remove the "Main power" from your Modem and (Router) (if you have one) for 30 seconds and plug back in....modem will reset the signal for you.
